Delicake is an Australian brand who have been trading in both Australia and New Zealand and they have ventured over to the UK earlier this year. They offer high-quality cakeware, so you can create mouth-watering masterpieces, effortlessly.
Their cakeware is very unique and they focus on the whole experience from adding ingredients, to the delicious reveal and even to the stackable storage, ensuring the product works beautifully for your non-bake needs.
The Delicake Master comes in two sizes: rectangle (200mm x 300mm) and circle (230mm diameter x 95.1mm high) designs to shape your delicious desserts. I opted for the rectangle Master to review. This is a great size for a party!
This innovative product is lightweight and contains three sections to help you easily create a non-bake dessert of your choice, using only one piece of cakeware. The three sections allow you to prepare, set and serve all-in-one. The sections include the base, a sleeve and a lid, created from high impact food grade clear acrylic.
It took me awhile to figure out how to use the cakeware properly! The first time I used it, I put it the wrong way round and I was not able to serve the cake properly. I realise now that I should have read the instructions properly! To assemble, place the base down with the “Delicake” text facing upwards, then the sleeve, put your fresh ingredients before you cover it with the lid with the “Delicake” text facing upwards. The sleeve locks into the base and allows you to add solid or liquid ingredients, without leakage and without them sticking to the side. The lid attaches to the sleeve to lock in freshness, as well as allowing you to easily transport your creation.
This all-in-one solution saves me time and effort in the kitchen. On numerous occasions in the past, I had to slice the cake into small pieces before placing them into the plastic tub for transportation. Now I can prepare my cake in it and take them out to our friend’s house without destroying the cake. It saves me from using multiple containers!
Delicake have a range of recipes on their website and I have choose to make the chocolate cheesecake! We all love cheesecake, and so do our friends. Before I put in the biscuit base, I laid a layer of baking sheet inside the Master. This is to prevent scratches to the base when I cut it with a knife. I am very impressive with the quality of the cakeware and it is also easy to use, wash and transport. I love that the sleeve comes off easily and the side of the cheesecake looks very neat and clean. It helps to make a perfect cake and I would definitely recommend it!
The Traditional Round Master is £30.76 and the Versatile Rectangle Master is £36.92. Alongside the Delicake Masters, you can also purchase their knife for £7.97 or spatula for £4.28 so you have all the tools you need. They are all available online from Delicake with fast shipping.
