Spy Gear Ninja Sword & Wrist Blaster

20 February 2017 by Eileen

Love to be a Ninja? Then check out these two sets of awesome ninja gear from Spin Masters: Spy Gear Ninja Sword and Wrist Blaster. Mr K was so excited when he saw these. He always love to pretend to be ninja and this gear is just right up his street.

Spy Gear Ninja Sword & Wrist Blaster review

This ninja sword is a 2-in-1 ninja tool; it comes equipped with a spy light to seek out your opponent and an easy-to-activate hidden sword that transforms with the push of a button! The sword is lightweight and comfortable to grip. Mr K loves to use the easy-to-activate the button to reveal the sword. It is just perfect for all secret missions to surprise your opponent and especially his sister. Of course, when activating the sword, do not wrap your fingers around the channel on the underside of the handle as it will prevent the blade from releasing. To power the torch, it requires three 1.5V button cell batteries which are provided. The light is not overly powerful but bright enough to light a small area. I’ve caught Mr K totally engrossed playing with it in his own little world. To keep the sword back into the channel, press and hold the button on the joint of the blade and rotate outer blade into main blade. Then slide the button on handle to rotate the main blade into the handle. We do find that keeping the blade back is not as fancy as sliding it open.

Next we have the wrist blaster which is the perfect undercover accessory to surprise your enemies. This hidden wrist blaster comes with two adjustable straps which fit both children and adult. It comes with three sticky darts which store nicely on each dart holder. To activate the dart, you have to pull the slide until it clicks and then slide it forward. To fire, squeeze the trigger and watch the dart shoot at your opponent. It’s surprisingly quick. Mr K loves this blaster but it’s slightly chunky to hide under his jacket sleeve and he hopes that the next design is slimmer.

Overall these two sets of ninja gear are good quality toys that will last and Mr K has a lot of fun playing with them.
