My Own Fairy Review

9 October 2015 by Eileen

Would you like to create your own fairy tale for your child? My Own Fairy have a range of magical products that could give you a helping hand. They have beautiful doors, wall stickers, stepping stones, fairy dust, deck chair, fairy necklaces and even a storybook to go along with it.

We have received this beautiful pink mushroom door along with cute wall stickers to create this magical experience with Ms C. This Pink Fairy door kit comes with a wooden fairy door, a mini magic key, a small pot of fairy dust and a fairy club membership.

Ms C decided to place her fairy door on her wardrobe door instead of the wall as she has limited wall space in her bedroom. Mr C helped her to stick the door with double sided foam tape before he placed it on the door itself. The wooden door is very well made and lightweight. It is easy to stick on most smooth surfaces.

Ms C then stuck the wall stickers around the fairy door to create a beautiful scene to welcome our fairy Rosie! The vibrant wall stickers are easy to apply and it includes a fairy post box, flowers, ladybirds, sun, fairy sign and ‘believe’ bunting.

Next Ms C placed the key and fairy dust along with the stepping stones outside the door waiting for her fairy Rosie to turn up and take up the wardrobe! Ms C loves it and has been telling her friends all about her fairy door!

To make it real, I am supposed to take the key away in the morning and sprinkle the fairy dust but I had forgotten about it! Anyway, she believes that Rosie will only come out to play at night while she is asleep!

I also read the Through The Fairy Book with Ms C. This book is written by Elaine and Laura Nelson and illustrated by Ste Johnson. It consists of 10 chapters so we decided to spread the chapters over a few days. This book is thoughtfully written and it contains a great message. We both enjoyed it. This book is definitely suitable for older children.
