Pumpkins, Pumpkins, Everywhere is a book written by Smriti Prasadam-Halls. It is colourful and beautifully illustrated by Lorena Alvarez. This paperback book is available to buy in good book stores and Amazon from June 2015.
The book contains about 32 pages with lovely rhyming sounds on each page and a good size font throughout. This is a picture book about pumpkins and more pumpkins! Inside the book, it contains a few words on each page following the adventures of four little trick-or-treaters as they make their way to the pumpkin parade.
My six year old daughter enjoys reading the words aloud and looking at the pictures but this is definitely too easy for her age. Some of the pages only have two words which describe the emotions. It is aimed at infants rather than a picture book for older children.
Overall the storyline is very easy to follow and the illustrations are brilliant. I would love it if it came with more words to provide more depth to the story.
