TMNT Movie Combat Turtle Michelangelo

22 September 2014 by Eileen

To coincide with the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie releasing in the UK on 17 October 2014, Flairs have an exciting range of the Turtles figures. These Combat Turtles are a replica of the characters featured in the movie. They are the scariest set ever and are highly detailed, with multiple points of articulation.

There are four Combat Turtle figures: Raphael, Leonardo, Donatello and Michelangelo. They are suitable for aged 4 onwards. We have received Michelangelo which comes in his soft rubbery orange signature gear with his double nun-chucks and non-removable hoodie.

TMNT Movie Combat Turtle Michelangelo review

Mikey measures 15 cm tall and comes with removable double nun-chucks. This is a very well made highly detailed figurine but my son is slightly disappointed that Mikey comes with non-removable triple terror nun-chucks on his right hand. Mr K was hoping to swap the tripe action nun-chucks with the double one.

To trigger Mikey’s signature Ninja move, you have to squeeze his legs together. His head and right arm would move along with his tripe action nun-chucks. Parents have to be aware of the swinging triple nun-chucks as it might harm little ones in their eyes.

This movie figurine of Mikey does look much scarier than all previous turtle characters but my son didn’t mind about it and happy to play along with his batter shells figurines. Do check out the rest of my TNNT reviews on battle shells figurine, plush toy & soft foam weapon and Turtles Flinger Donatello & Mutagen Ooze Leo.

They are available to buy via Flair website, in good stores or online at RRP £14.99.  Do check out Red Rose Mummy’s review on Raphael.

Disclosure: We have received the sample for the purposes of writing this review, however, all thoughts and opinions remain our own.

I think Mister B will love these when he’s a little older although he doesn’t know too much about the turtles just yet!

I have a little boy who would love these! He can’t wait for the new film to come out!
