World Cup 2014 Football Craft

There are a few more weeks to the World Cup 2014 Brazil big kick off!  Are you watching it or it is not your cup of tea?  Mr C is a big fan of football!  So you can imagine he can’t wait to grab a bottle of beer and scoff down some party food while watching England playing!

Soccer World Cup Football CraftsNow we had made three simple crafts to get you into the football mood!  Get your children to get involved too!

  1. World Cup Football Paper Plate Craft
  2. England Straw Flag
  3. England Topper/Toothpick

Football Soccer World Cup BannerWorld Cup Football Paper Plate Banner Craft

To make this banner, you will need:

  • Coloured paper plates (it can be any colour of your favourite team)
  • Pentagon template (click here to download World Cup 2014 Football Print Black and World Cup 2014 Football Print White)
  • Scissors
  • Stapler
  • String
  • Glue stick
  1. Cut out the hexagon templates and stick them on the plates. football soccer world cup paper plate

World Cup England Straw FlagEngland Straw Flag

To make this straw flag, you will need:

  • Straws
  • White cards
  • Red Duck Tape (cut into small strips using pen knife)
  • Scissors
  • Hole puncher

  1. Cut the white cards into squares (5 cm by 5 cm).
  2. Punch a hole 1/3 in the middle of the card. england flag straw puncher
  3. Slot the straw into the hole of the card. England Football Straw Flag
  4. Fold them into half.
  5. Stick the red Duck Tape strips horizontal and vertical. England Football Straw Flag ducktape

World Cup England Flag Topper ToothpickEngland Topper/Toothpick

This can be used on cupcake, fruits or sandwiches etc.  You will need:

  1. White cards
  2. Red Duck Tape (cut into small strips using pen knife)
  3. Scissor
  4. Toothpicks

  1. Cut the white cards into rectangles (5 cm by 2.5 cm).
  2. Wrap the card on the toothpick.
  3. Use the red Duck Tape strip to wrap around the card as shown.
