Bunny Loves to Learn is a book written by award-winning author Peter Bently and illustrated by Emma Foster and Deborah Melmon. It was released on 3 February 2014 and published by Parragon Publishing. The book is paperback containing about 32 pages and with book cover dividers. It is so handy to use these covers to bookmark a page. There are two types of font used in the book, one for the story and one for the illustration/descriptions.
The story is set in school, where the teacher announces that the class will be doing a simple and fun learning project. They will choose costumes from the dress-up box, make something from the time period of the characters chosen and then dress up and present their work to the class. See how they do their research, learn about the fun facts of the characters and give their best presentations.
The Bunny Loves range is also available as a Read-Along eBook and is available on iBooks, NOOK and Kobo.
Even though this is quite a thin book, every page is packed with text and well detailed content. Mr K who is 6 years old is able to read most of the text. But I read it along with him and Ms C. While reading the book, I also try to explain why the characters have to dress as they do. It is interesting that the book shows how they research the characters using the internet!
This is a very well written book packed full of content. Both of my children learnt about all the different characters, their characteristics and how they dress up. This is a very interesting book that is great to read together!
