Beano Dennis the Menace Farting Football

5 March 2014 by Eileen

Beano have yet again released more new practical joke toys.  This is the Beano Dennis the Menace Farting Football which is quite small at around 19 cm by 19 cm by 19 cm.  At this size, it is smaller and softer than a standard type of football and therefore great for indoor and outdoor use.  This is suitable for aged 3 and above.

Beano Dennis the Menace Farting Football review

This football is covered with printed images of Dennis the Menace and Gnasher.  This soft material football makes disgustingly funny farting sounds every time you kick or hit it.  Each time it makes a different type of farting sound.  But it does not always make a sound, depending on how hard you kick the ball.  The sound is quite soft so in loud environments you might not hear it.

On the box, it states that the average battery life is six months or less if constantly used.  So once the batteries run out, it will become a soundless sponge ball because it’s stitched tight and it’s not designed for you to be able to change the batteries.

Watch my video to see how it works: https://youtu.be/tTap2UGV7F8

Both of my children had a lot of fun kicking, throwing and passing it.  Or by holding the tag, you can use punch it!  Both of them got quite excited.  It is very soft and we can hardly feel the battery case so it feels safe for younger children.  Overall, this is a fun ball that should keep children entertained for some time.

Disclosure: We received the sample for the purposes of writing this review, however, all thoughts and opinions remain our own.

This is such fun and would be great for a game they play at my sons Karate club, the kids would go mad over it!

That would drive me crazy if we had one in our house but I know the children would find it hilarious!

What is it about little boys and fart sounds? I saw these at Toy Fair and I think my little boy would love it. He’d think it was hilarious.

This sounds just like something my son would find hilarious! Just a shame you can’t change the batteries!
