Christopher’s Bicycle is a book written and illustrated by Charlotte Middleton. The book is suitable for ages 2 to 6. It was released on 7th February 2013 and published by Oxford University Press. It is hardback containing about 32 pages. The font is easy to read by young school children. Each page is beautifully illustrated with adorable guinea pigs.
I like reading this book as it teaches me a few ideas of getting things to recycle and to encourage us to always remember to recycle things. Now I learnt that I can pass my old bicycle to my sister to use and also how to make paper bag out of old newspaper, stale bread as bird feeders and used jars as a vase. Also if I ever want to find out more recycling ideas, I can check internet for ideas. I enjoyed learning the tips and listening to the story.
I would rate this book 4 stars out of 5. It is an enjoyable book to read but it is not a book that I will read over and over again.
Disclosure: We were given this book from Primary Times to do an honest review for their website. This is review by my son aged 5. He is a member of the Primary Times Kids’ Review Panel.
