Not long ago, I had signed up at mumsnet to be a wine reviewer for Blossom Hill Vie White 5.5%. I think that Blossom Hill Vie White is very light, fruity and easy to drink. Great with any type of food or on it own. If I would describe the taste of Vie to my friend, I would agree with the description of being able to taste the fruity flavours of citrus, pear and apricot. It is a reduced alcohol wine that is elegant and juicy. Vie is delicate and full of flavour – perfect when you would like a glass of wine without the high alcohol content.
I would recommend and buy because it is an interesting proposition compared to the usual heavier white wines especially for non white wine drinkers. As a red wine drinker who does not normally drink white wine, this is very palatable and I look forward to buying and trying the rosé when we are next at the supermarket. Also Blossom Hill Vie has 30% fewer calories than Blossom Hill still wine. Great! I can drink more without going over my limit of calories.
