Earlier this year, I changed my blog direction to food and craft posts. They had been dormant passions of mine and it wasn’t until the regularity of the kids going to school that enabled me to spend more time on these.

I come from Singapore where there are so many tropical fruits like pineapple, melon, papaya, banana etc available all year around. These are generally easy to get hold of from Waitrose too, both in store and online.

Today is the FIFA World Cup! Mr C is so excited as he can watch hours and hours of football. Well, it is once every four years! This coming Sunday, we are hosting a Bird Eye Fish Finger party by Come Round. I love planning parties and have hosted many. I am no expert though!

Last week, we went to Tesco for our normal grocery shop and to buy some drinks for the World Cup! It is always very scary bringing Ms C and Mr K along! They were happily grabbing all sorts of snacks and chocolate! At the end of the shop, my basket is always full of junk food!

My son is generally very inquisitive and has always shown an interest in knowing how a lot of his toys work.  He once played a Buzz Wire game at a funfair and was fascinated by that.

So last week we challenged ourselves to make one.  We went to Maplin to get some items to build our homemade buzz wire game.  We bought the mini buzzer, mini LED light bulbs, insulated wire, bare wire and battery holder.
