Time has passed so quickly and now we are welcoming 2019! This will be a very challenging year ahead as we are buying a new house soon and Mr K will be going to ‘big’ school in September. The year before, we made a big decision to sell our ‘forever home’ to move closer to Mr K’s big school as we wanted the best school for him. It was not an easy decision as it involved tying ourselves to a bigger/longer mortgage and moving away from our nearby friends.

We were so pleased to take part in this campaign and challenge ourselves to grab some bargain items at low prices using the provided £20 voucher. I have to say I failed miserably! I didn’t grab their bargains but instead I decided to spend it all on my children instead!

Last week, we have been spending family time at home doing a lot of arts and crafts. I hope this New Year I will be able to bring you more Chinese craft ideas and baking too!
Not long now before the end of the year and then we will be welcoming the New Year 2015. Instead of a quiet New Year, we are going to make a lot of noise this year. We made these paper plate New Year Drums to play. It is very simple to make but it does require a few hours in total to make.

Since I started blogging in early May, it has opened my world and through social media I have learnt a lot especially that we have to appreciate life.
