DIY Circle Icing Cutter by Using a Syringe

Some of you might be aware that I am the host for the Something Special Twitter Party this coming Thursday! Now I am busying getting ready the games and party food. My children love to help me to bake, cook and decorate. We were given a pack of 12 fairy cakes and a pack of icing for this party. Although we love baking, I do not own any icing cutters, especially one so small for the Something Special spots. So my clever husband thought of using a syringe.

How to make Bubble Milk Tea

15 years ago, Bubble Pearl Milk Tea used to be a premium tea where it would cost around S$4 (Singapore Dollars) and nowadays you can get it for S$1 in Singapore.  Recently, I have introduce my son to bubble milk tea when we were in London Chinatown. That cost us around £3.50 for a small cup.

Walls of the Wild Butterfly Collection

Instead of spending your time painting a wild forest theme on your wall, why not invest in wall stickers? I love the idea of wall stickers. They are easy to use and are reusable. We were already fans of wall stickers. We had a wall sticker train set on Ms C’s wall and the children’s names on their doors. The lovely people from Walls of the Wild has given us the Butterfly collection to review. There are a total of 15 stickers consisting of butterflies, a dragonfly and a hummingbird.

B&Q unloved rooms revamp with mumsnet

Recently, Mumsnet was looking for 20 MNers to revamp an unloved room in their home. I was one of the lucky ones to have been chosen by B&Q. I was sent a B&Q gift card to spend on a makeover for the unloved room. The unloved room used to be the nursery room for our children when they were babies. They have long since moved into their own rooms and it has gradually been a dumping ground for toys and books. I wanted to use this fantastic opportunity to turn it into a study room for my children who is in primary school.
