The Kid Who Would Be King is a 2019 fantasy adventure movie, written and directed by Joe Cornish and distributed by 20th Century Fox. To celebrate the theatrical release of this movie, we were gifted a backpack, hoodie and a handmade Excalibur sword piñata which was filled with lots of chocolates! We were all super-excited!
Choosing The Right Artificial Turf
Busy families are rapidly cottoning on to the fact that fake grass is one of the easiest ways to make their gardens low maintenance and family friendly.
But with so much on offer out there, and such variation, how on earth do you even begin to pick the right one for you?
Emirates Flight Time Stories Event
This half term, we were invited to a fun-filled morning at Emirates book launch of the Monkey on a Plane! with award winning children’s author and illustrator duo, Philip Reeve and Sarah McIntyre at Emirates Aviation Experience. This event was to introduce us to the Emirates programme which encourages families to get together and create stories around their own travel adventures!
Conquered Conkers
Conkers is a great family-friendly centre, in the National Forest with indoor and outdoor play areas, discovery zones and an amphitheatre. This coming 13th July 2015, they will open the High and Low ropes course which we are looking forward to go on. The High Ropes course has 15 aerial sections to complete while the Low Ropes course are for junior visitors to take on 10 different elements of adventure.
Although it rained non-stop, it didn’t stop us from enjoying ourselves with the Bush Craft Survival session, Barefoot Challenge and other outdoor activities. After meeting up with others, we were divided into groups and were given a map to locate our own survival equipment.
An Aussie Adventure
Hi all, I’m blogging to you all the way from Australia thanks to International Blog Swap Day hosted by Digital Parents and Tots100, oh and of course Eileen from ET Speaks from Home.
As a Nutritionist, Personal Trainer and Mum I blog on just about everything health, fitness and parent related – The Kids Menu. This weekend the kids and I had planned a trip to the local Botanical Gardens and I thought it was not only a great opportunity to get the children outdoors but also a perfect way showcase some beautiful Australian bush to you.
Go Ape Tree Top Junior adventure

I had only briefly read about them on their website but had no clue what to expect or if Mr K would like it or not. So it was a bit of a gamble.
