Trampoline Ladder Review

24 November 2012 by Eileen

Today, I am reviewing a Trampoline ladder kindly provided by Big Game Hunters. Big Game Hunters sells many different kinds of play equipment and games – they are obsessed with finding the best and most enjoyable ways for you and your family to play.

Trampoline Ladder Review

Information about the Trampoline Ladder:

The Skyhigh Trampoline Ladder is designed to be used with any 12 – 15ft trampoline with the assumption that the height is between 80 to 90cm. The trampoline ladder is easily attached by hooking the ladder on to the trampoline frame and is also designed to fit trampolines with enclosures. The ladder has been treated with UV to help prolong the life of the ladder. This product is suitable for persons aged 3 years and above and will support up to 100kg.

In the box, it comes with:

  • 2 Legs
  • 2 Steps
  • 4 Black Plastic Sockets
  • 2 Bunk Cottons
  • Instructions

It was very simple and straightforward to install the ladder. I personally found it easier to attach the bunk cottons by stretching them before attaching onto the legs. Each leg comes as a whole piece and they are light weight. The steps are about 7 cm wide in the middle and is made from a strong non-slip plastic. I like the design of the steps as it is wide and the holes on the steps will help drain out water. It comes with clear instructions for assembly. It did take me a while to slot the steps into the sockets. I had to align both sides before I pushed it together and tightened the sockets.

Trampoline Ladder

I made an honest mistake by telling Big Game Hunters that I had a 12ft trampoline.  When I dug up our instructions for our trampoline, I discovered it is only 10ft. It is a little shorter than an average 12ft trampoline and therefore the ladder is too long. But not to worry, on the instructions, it suggests to dig a hole to sit the ladder firmly on the ground and fill it back with soil. So I followed this advice and it has worked out well though the first step is about 3 cm above the ground. It was very easy to hook it onto my 10ft trampoline frame. After fitting in, the ladder is very sturdy.

This trampoline ladder is excellent value for money. We are very pleased with the quality materials and it’s sturdy nature. It also gets a big thumbs up from us as we’ve been able to use it on our 10ft trampoline too! I rate this product 5 stars out of 5.
