Mother’s Day Gift Guide

22 March 2014 by Eileen

Can you believe that next Sunday is Mother’s Day!  Hope you have thought of getting something for her soon.  If not, take a look at my gift guide that I have and will review.

C’est Ca Panel Apron £22.95

The apron consists of seven individual panels of fabric which are edged with binding all intricately sewn together by expert machinists in their Norwich based factory.  The signature Panel Apron offers a stylish alternative to the classic kitchen apron shape, which they also produce.

GuyLian Artisanal Belgian Chocolates

This gorgeous box of Sea Horses Original Praliné contains 32 pieces of marbled and milk chocolate seahorses filled with unique hazelnut praliné with finely ground hazelnuts to create the ultimate chocolate experience.

You can never go wrong with chocolates!  They are so delicious and come in a very well presented box!  Guylian has just relaunched its webshop, so an array of Guylian products are now available from www.guylianshop.co.uk.

Not forgetting flowers!  You could check out Moon Pig for their Mother’s Day range, check out the event that I attended recently – Moon Pig Spring/Summer 2014 collection for more details.

Or maybe spoil her with a bottle of Nelsons Arnicare Bath & Massage Balm.  To help soothe and relax her after a tiring day while Evening Primrose and Sweet Almond Oil naturally hydrate and nourish her skin.  It costs £8.15 and is available from Boots.  Her handbag isn’t complete without RESCUE Cream which contain the famous combination of five flower essences (RESCUE) – Cherry Plum, Impatiens, Star of Bethlehem, Rock Rose, Clematis – plus the cleansing essence, Crab Apple.  It costs £5.65 for 30g and £7.75 for 50g.

Or get her Nelsons Calendula which is a multi-purpose cream to nourish her dry and tired skin.  It’s prepared using the purest extracts from the Calendula (Marigold) plant, famous for its multiple skin conditioning properties. It is priced at £5.09 for 30ml tube and £6.93 for a 50ml tube and available from Boots, Holland & Barrett and independent pharmacies and health food stores.  Do look out for my blog post to win one soon.

Nelsons Mother Day Gift

After a long day, why not get her to sleep in a pure silk pillowcase for a good nights sleep!  The silk will help to retain moisture in your hair and skin to help minimise ‘bed head’ and skin creases.”  The Silk Pillowcase and the rest of the ‘The Good Sleep Expert’ range are available from http://thegoodsleepexpert.com.  Look out for my review and you can also win one for your mother or wife!

Or maybe make them a healthy breakfast in bed!  Try out Jordans crunchy oat granola – Fruit & Nuts.  You could also get the kids to make her a Jordans Billionaire’s Flapjack.  Check out their recipe here: https://www.jordanscereals.co.uk/recipes/category/bake/jordans-billionaires-flapjacks

Whether I’m creating festive crafts, exploring Chinese traditions, or trying out new recipes, I hope to inspire others through everyday moments from home.
