Getting Garden Ready with VonHaus Copper Rim Fire Pit

With the temperatures getting warmer and BBQ-friendly weather finally on the horizon, we might finally be able to enjoy our outdoor space! Now with these beautiful evenings, I think it’s the perfect excuse to get a garden centrepiece to keep the evening chill at bay with this modern Copper Rim fire pit from VonHaus.

Some of you might know that earlier this year, we bought a house and it has been under renovation. Finally, we have a moving-in day and we have been busy with the finishing touches around the house and not forgetting the garden too!

To create a focal point for our garden, we have received this gorgeous copper rim fire pit that is suitable for burning logs or charcoal. This fire pit comes with a protective mesh spark guard, heat resistant poker and a chrome grill. It can be transformed into an open flames fire pit to cook tasty barbecued foods. I have temporarily placed the fire pit on my newly painted decking for a picture. It is best to place it on the patio and to avoid placing it on decking or other flammable surfaces or leave unattended.

This is a large 91 cm diameter fire pit and requires assembly. It took me over 30 minutes to assemble it by myself. It is quite straightforward to set up the copper band but it took me some time to balance the huge pit onto the copper band to get those screws in! Phew! I think it will be a lot easier if this is set up with two people.

This fire pit is made from black powder coated steel with a beautiful lattice effect base. I love the textured details on the fire pit including the eye-catching copper band and it looks very strong and sturdy once it’s set up.

This fire pit has many uses. You can use it to keep you warm by burning logs or charcoal by simply popping on the protective mesh spark guard. I have bought some charcoal to use but it is not easy to see in the picture. It is a huge pit and it will require a few packs of charcoals. I made the mistake of buying just one pack and it does not fill up the pit.

The fire pit also comes with a heat resistant poker tool with a wood handle to keep you safe from the roaring flames. It also comes with a chrome grill for barbecued foods. The chrome grill is well made, strong and sturdy. It rests inside the fire pit’s hooks and comes with handles on the side for easy removal.

This is such a gorgeous fire pit that will definitely impress your family and friends and it is good value for money! Not only can it keep you warm, but it can also be converted into a barbecue pit.
