Squishmallows are landing in the UK this May

17 May 2019 by Eileen

We are so thrilled to announce that Squishmallows are landing in the UK next week. There are 13 super-special animal characters launching and with further Christmas characters already confirmed for the 2019 festive period. Not only that, there will more Squishmallows added throughout the year with the back to school clip-on range and the Disney range arriving for this Christmas giving you even more characters to choose from!

Did you manage to join in an hour fun-filled Sqishmallows Twitter Party with the exclusive UK distributor HexBugs yesterday? Both my children are loving these super cute and soft Squishmallows 7.5 inch plushes and have been fighting over them since!

Squishmallows is coming to UK

The Squishmallows phenomenon, which has reported over 20 million individual products sold in the US alone, is showing no signs of slowing down with plans firmly in place to extend the eagerly anticipated 13-character product line-up by 2020 in the UK – despite the product not yet being on shelves! The increasing popularity of ‘squish’ toys has been widely recognised by retailers over the past year and the Squishmallows range hits all the right notes, thanks to their unbelievably soft marshmallow-like texture, adorable kawaii-style design, collectability factor and very reasonable cost.

To coincide with the new product launch, the Squishmallows UK website is live now to allow users to download adoption certificates relating to each character, play interactive and engaging educational games and even offer the opportunity to purchase an exclusive 14th character that will not be available elsewhere.

Each Squishmallow character has their own unique personality, so children can create a Squishmallow collection of their favourite buddies and care for them. Each soft toy is 7.5 inches tall which is the perfect size for young ones to cuddle. They are so cute and soft too. The stitching and detail on these plushes are brilliant and they are very nicely finished all around. There is not a loose thread in sight, no lumpiness to the filling and no hard edges at all. These plushes are made to a really high standard. They are suitable for aged three and above.

With the first release in the UK, you will find:

Squishmallows tim

Tim the Alpaca

Ever seen Tim before? You might not recognise him now, but you will! He is one of the greatest leading guitarists. Want to join Tim on his next tour bus? He gets to travel all over the world alongside his younger brother Jim! What’s his favourite kind of music to perform? Alternative rock!

Astrid the Purple Unicorn

Astrid is a dreamer and loves learning about how the stars align. She is a deep thinker and loves interacting with others. Curious to know what she wants to do when she grows up?
She wants to be a psychology professor!

Squishmallows dino griffa

Danny the Dino

You will always want Danny on your team! Why? He is the king of games! Danny loves strategising for board games, puzzles, outdoor sports or scavenger hunts with his buddies.

Gary the Giraffe

Nothing can stop Gary from reaching the finish line! You can’t miss his long legs on the track, as he aspires to become a future Olympian. Want to know the best part about Gary? He is fast on his feet and can solve any problem that comes his way!

Squishmallows fifi

Fifi the Fox

Fifi is your girl if you like to go on adventures! She has travelled to the Arctic, to the mountains and is ready to go on her next trip with you. Fifi has a vibrant personality and is quite the little firecracker.

Squishmallows cat

Cameron the Cat

Cameron loves to jump in and out of boxes, build forts with his friends Hoot and Wendy and use his skateboard to get around town. Cam also loves going to the beach to take cat naps with his friends but is always up for an adventure!
Squishmallows owl

Hans the Hedgehog

Hans has seen every movie ever and loves to eat pudding, especially with sprinkles. When it comes to food, Hans is willing to try whatever someone puts on his plate, probably because he is so open to change and adventure.

Simon the Sloth

Want a buddy to just relax with? Simon is your perfect match. If you can’t find him, he is probably at the store buying another video game! He is the greatest video gamer on the block. He loves virtual reality. If it were up to him, he would teleport himself in a second!

Puff the Penguin

Puff is a tech-fanatic penguin! He is the Internet’s number one fan and is always searching for the newest thing. He’s also into robotics and has the most fun when he’s either building or coding.

Hoot the Owl

Hoot and his sister Holly are complete opposites. He’s quiet and likes to read and study, sometimes in his tree fort with his friend Cam. But Hoot is also secretly a wonderful singer, but only when he thinks no one is watching.

Randy the Raccoon

If you can’t find Randy, look up! Randy is a rock climbing expert, capturing scenic beauty from elevations above. Maybe if you’re lucky he’ll invite you out as his next adventure buddy!

Squishmallows unicorn

Esmerelda the Rainbow Tie Dye Unicorn

Esmeralda has quite the colourful personality. Her creativity is always shining through, especially in her artwork. Her collections brighten the room and inspire positivity wherever she goes.

Mila the Elephant

Mila is making moves! She has found her healthy fix through creative recipe tips, which she uses to treat her friends and family! Ready to get happy and healthy with Mila?
