Dare You to Doodle is a very interesting interactive activity book that is filled with over 100 doodles to complete. There are a total of 144 pages of illustrations in two colours plus black. Each page has a unique starting illustration and no one page is the same. If you can’t find any inspiration on the page, just move onto the next page!
Initially, we thought this book would teach us the step by step of how to doodle, but we were wrong. In fact, this book provides you with the starting illustrations and it encourages you to think about what you might want to doodle in. This book definitely sparks children’s imaginations to fill it with all kinds of doodles. Mr K hates drawing from a completely blank piece of paper. He struggles to get his creative juices going. I’ve often given him a blank piece of paper to draw on and he will draw a blank and or get fed up of colouring in the background. So this book is perfect for him!
Over the weekend, Mr K had a go with this book and has been spending some time thinking about how to create his little storylines via the illustrations. He finds the book very interesting as there are so many other illustrations to choose from. He can always skip the pages until he finds a page that suits him.
This book is great for travelling, especially for trains or car journeys. It will be available to buy on 2nd May 2019 from Carlton Books, good book retailers and Amazon.
