Healthy Eating with Ryvita

13 September 2013 by Eileen

Since being a mum, I have to juggle between school runs, play dates, shopping and after school activities and to eat healthy is not an easy task. Ryvita has introduced 10 great-tasting and easy meals. They are so easy to prepare as you can dip it, dunk it and devour it. As I was hosting the #something special party on Thursday, I also did not forget about feeding the mothers.  I had laid out a dish of different types of Ryvita products.

Healthy Eating with Ryvita

They are:

  • Cracked Black Pepper Crispbread
  • Multigrain Crispbread
  • Thins Multi-Seed Flatbreads
  • Thins Sweet Chilli Flatbreads
  • Cracker bread

Healthy Eating with Ryvita ranges

Both the Cracked Black Pepper and Multigrain Crispbread come in a foil wrapped to keep them fresher.  The appearance of the Crispbread does look like a piece of cardboard but when you garnish them with chopped salad or smoke salmon or fruits, they will look very appetising and tasty too. Both the Crispbreads are quite hard and dry.  I personally would dunk it in soup or eat it with ice cream.

Most of my guests preferred the Thins Flatbreads and they have both gone down very well. Within minutes, they were all finished. The Multi-Seed Flatbreads are very fragrant and tasty. They are great to eat on their own or with a dip. I personally loved it without a dip so that I am able to taste the seeds. The sweet chilli is quite spicy but is definitely one of my favourites! The spiciness is just right. I would highly recommend them. They can be eaten any time of the day with or without dip.

Last but not least, we also tried the Crackerbread. It looks like it has the texture of white bread but it is hard and dry. My husband used it as soldiers to dip into soft boiled eggs and they taste yummy. The Crackerbread itself is quite plain but once you dip it in olive oil/rapeseed oil or spread it with strawberry jam. I had made a Blossom Hill Rosé ice cream and I used the bread as a wafer! It might look weird but it does taste great. Ryvita have such a large range of products. They can be a very delicious healthy start to the morning.  Check them out as they are inexpensive and they are a source of fibre and low in fat.

Disclosure: We received the samples for the purposes of writing this review, however, all thoughts and opinions remain our own.

We get through a ton of Ryvita – I’ve never considered having it with ice cream though!
