Ignite Your Valentine’s Day

12 February 2014 by Eileen

Durex Embrace Sex & Relationship expert has kindly shared their three top tips:

  • Loving touch:  Sensual stroking releases hormones that make skin and nerves more sensitive.
  • Take turns: Particularly for her, it can be amazing to concentrate on one’s own sensations without needing to return the favour.
  • Hold back: Introducing pauses in to the love act means passion builds physiologically higher, emotions zoom upwards and the climax is stronger.

Durex Embrace

After having children, some couples have a hard time getting back to the pre-marriage sex routine or they lose the passion they used to have. To make sure that we address this, Mr C and I always make sure we make time for ourselves while kids are asleep. This is not a signed contract of course but something we would do as a couple and we do try and make it fun.

There are a lot of ways to make the session fun. Durex Embrace brings a new dimension to sex for both you and your partner. It is a duo of sensual pleasure gels.

The purple bottle is full of magical sensations which stimulate you with excitement! Experience the amazing tingling reaction. The pink bottle generates some intense, hot and steamy heat in the bedroom.

The two 60ml bottles are more than enough for a fun night, depending how generously you use it!  The bottles are very stylish and curves nicely into your palm.  Squeeze to dispense the gels and apply wherever you like them. We found that it worked better around the intimate areas than on the body as the rest of the body isn’t sensitive enough. Just a small amount of gel is enough otherwise it can get quite messy. It didn’t take long for the gels to work! It is pretty much instant! It is really hot for me and tingly for Mr C!  As this is a family blog, lets just say it got quite exciting!  After use, the gels do have a sticky residue but does wash off very easily.

The gels are safe to consume but Durex has stated that this is not a food.  If you don’t want to have a tingly or hot mouth, try to avoid that!

We do love it as it is quite fun and the tingly and heat last for a while which I am quite impressed with using just a small amount of gel.

They are available to purchase in Boots, Superdrug and Amazon. If you would rather not run into any familiar faces in town or have your child ask what you are buying, then you can also buy them online!  You can save yourself the trouble of explaining what is ‘that’ and you could also surprise your partner.

Do remember to always practise safe sex and protect yourself against unwanted pregnancy and disease.  Make it fun and not a chore! Good luck and have fun! Ignite Your Valentine’s Day!

Disclosure: We received the sample for the purposes of writing this review, however, all thoughts and opinions remain our own.
