Wow!Stuff Harry Potter Invisibility Cloak
With this invisibility cloak, you can recreate the iconic scenes from the Harry Potter film series by appearing to disappear! This might not be everyone’s cup of tea especially as the magical effect can only be used via the app. But for Harry Potter fans, this is a great item! Read the detailed invisibility cloak review here.
The Harry Potter Invisibility is available to buy now from good toy retailers, online and Amazon. Here are the links:

LEGO® Harry Potter Knight Bus™
LEGO® Harry Potter Knight Bus™ was selected by a panel of retailers and industry experts to be one of the Top 12 hottest toys to have this Christmas! Needless to say, LEGO is such a dominant force in the toy industry and this is definitely a great playset for families to build this Christmas! Available from Argos, Smyths, John Lewis, LEGO and Amazon.
LEGO® Harry Potter Hogwarts™ Clock Tower
This is a fairly new set that includes eight new-for-June-2019 Harry Potter™ minifigures: Harry Potter™, Ron Weasley™, Hermione Granger™, Fleur Delacour, Cedric Diggory, Viktor Krum, Albus Dumbledore™ and Madame Maxime.
Inside this magical clock tower, there are 3-levels which are the Entrance Hall, Defense Against the Dark Arts classroom, Hospital Wing, Prefects’ Bathroom, Dumbledore’s Office and a section of icy decorations for the Yule Ball. Fans can reset the tower clock to create Time-Turner time travel adventures or unwind at the Yule Ball by operating the ‘dance’ function. I love this set and it took us over two fun hours to build! Available from Very, Smyths, John Lewis, LEGO and Amazon.
Harry Potter Sorting Hat™
Legend has it that the Sorting Hat once belonged to Godric Gryffindor and that it was enchanted by all four founders to ensure that students would be sorted into their houses. Do you want to know which house you are assigned on your first evening at Hogwarts? This wise old Harry Potter Sorting Hat will assign you to the rightful house! Read our Sorting Hat review here. Available from Smyths, Very and Amazon.
Harry Potter Yule Ball Doll
This Harry Potter film-inspired doll brings Harry back to Hogwarts for an enchanted evening at the Yule Ball. This Harry Potter doll looks just like his character in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire and comes dressed in his Yule Ball look, featuring modern dress robes in black over a crisp, white shirt and a matching bow tie. There are eleven joints – in the neck, shoulders, hips, knees, elbows and wrists which makes it easy to pose and play!
There are four Yule Ball dolls to collect: Harry Potter™, Ron Weasley™, Hermione Granger™ and Cho Chang. Available from Amazon.
Harry Potter Wizard Training Wand
This training wand was launched last year from Jakks Pacific and is for young fans to practise casting spells and to learn all 11 spells! Besides the Harry Potter™ wand, the other wands in the range include a Dumbledore Feature wand, Voldemort Feature wand and Hermione Granger Feature wand which we had reviewed. Available from Amazon.
Hornby Hogwarts™ Express
Time to hop on board this Hornby Hogwarts Express Train and get ready to attend Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry this year! It contains a Hogwarts Castle 5972 locomotive with a working headlight, two coaches, 3rd radius starter oval, track pack A (with point and buffer stop), P9200 wall plug transformer, R8250 Train Controller and R8206 Power Track.
Watch the train in action over my Instagram account!
Setting up the train track is fairly straightforward. I did not use all the track pieces provided as I was unable to use them to split track or expand it (My Santa’s Express has been kept in my cupboard since we moved house). The tracks are well made and it’s worth taking additional time to make sure you slot them in correctly.
To operate the train, you need to set up the track near a power source as this is run off the mains. Once the tracks are connected, you are ready to go. My children love the train controller as they can adjust the speed and see it go around the track. The controller is lightweight and comes with one dial for the speed and a switch for changing the direction. The trains do not have any sound effects so you might want to put some festive music on while the train runs!
I’m sure you won’t be disappointed with its quality! As many of you will know, Hornby is UK’s brand leader in the model railway hobby with its high quality models and accessories. Of course, you will need a fairly big table/floor space for the tracks. Available from Hornby and Amazon.
Harry Potter Pictopia
This is a picture-trivia family game that features the beloved characters, extraordinary places, magical creatures, and enchanted objects from the epic Harry Potter movies. This game not only tests your knowledge, it offers a unique twist; some questions must be answered from the perspective of the player asking the question, making it ideal for gathering the whole family around the table. We have previously reviewed the Star Wars and Disney versions. Available in John Lewis, Smyths and Amazon.
Harry Potter Dobble
Harry Potter Dobble is a 5-in-1 family card game for two to eight players for aged six and above. This is a great game for travel and party as it can be fast and furious! Beware, it can get a little too heated!
Every card is unique and has only one symbol in common with any other card in the deck. The match can be difficult to spot as the size and positioning of the symbols can vary on each card. Once a player finds the match, they shout it out before other players and either takes the card or places it somewhere else, depending on which mini-game they are playing. Available from John Lewis, Waterstones and Amazon.
Harry Potter The Cursed Child: The Journey book
This book will take you behind the scenes of this amazing award-winning stage production. I’ve not had the chance to watch the theatre show so don’t know much about the show. This book will be great for fans who have watched it or would like to know more about the stage show before watching it in the theatre. Available from WHSmith, Waterstones and Amazon.
