Happy Llama Day! Did you know that today 9th December is National Llama Day? To celebrate this important day with these beautiful creatures, we were gifted this Don’t Upset The Llama game from Tactic for review!
This family game is suitable for children aged six and above, with two to four players! It comes with a Llama spray gun, 64 cards and a special die. Setting up this game is very straightforward. You do need a table to place the Llama spray gun in the middle within reach of all the players. Also, have a few face towels or paper tissues handy. Now fill your spray gun with water!
The aim of the game is to be faster than anyone else and try to stay dry! Deal the cards equally and place them face down. Each player takes their turn to roll the die. Check the die to see if you need to turn the card or grab the spray gun. Work fast to spot a horn or a spray in the picture and if so, grab the Llama water gun and spray your opponent! The game ends when one player has been sprayed four times by the Llama and the driest player wins!
This game is very simple to play. All you need to do is to be fast at grabbing and spotting! It is very fun and exciting too. Both of my children got so excited trying to be the first to grab the spray gun to spray at each other! This will sure liven up any Christmas Day! This game is available to buy from The Range, Toymaster and Amazon.
Did you know that Don’t Upset the Llama appeared on ITV’s How To Spend It Well At Christmas on Tuesday evening? They even got a name check by Phillip Schofield as he explained the game to one of the school children in his Christmas shop! Also this game has recently been awarded ‘Recommended’ status by The Good Toy Guide and acknowledged for encouraging concentration in children!
