World Calligraphy Day is back for its 3rd year! Why not get yourself and your children involved in on 14th August 2019. The day isn’t just about showing off your calligraphy skills. It is also a day to encourage people to let their creativity flow in whichever way they can. Share your creativity by simply tagging @manuscriptpenco on social media and use the hashtags #WorldCalligraphyDay and #SaySomethingSpecial.
This is the 2nd year that Manuscript Pen Company is partnering with Birmingham Children’s Hospital for the ‘Say Something Special’ campaign. The campaign encourages people to handwrite a special letter, message or create an illustration to send to the children at Birmingham Children’s Hospital. You can get involved by sending letters to:

Last year, they have received over 100 letters and notes from all over the world! These varied from beautiful calligraphic notes, to handwritten stories from celebrities, calligraphers and artists, schools, children and adults!
If you prefer, why not handwrite a letter to someone close to you. Maybe you know someone who is in hospital or you have a relative or friend you haven’t see in a long time. Receiving a hand-written letter is more special now than it has ever been.
