Nifflers Plush Toys Review

29 November 2018 by Eileen

Have you caught the wind of Fantastic Beasts? Two weeks ago, did you manage to join in the Fantastic Beasts Nifflers Twitter party with KapToys? We had so much fun chatting over these gorgeous Nifflers Plush Toys!

To celebrate the release of Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald, we received this gorgeous range of Nifflers plush toys from KapToys. The Nifflers and Nifflers Babies are not available online yet but they are available to buy from independent toy stores. Do look out of them!

If you have not watched Fantastic Beasts, you may not know what are they. The Niffler is a British beast with a long snout and a coat of black, fluffy fur. This burrowing creature has a predilection for anything glittery, which made them wonderful for locating treasure, but this also means that they can wreak havoc if kept (or set loose) indoors. Of course, these plush toys definitely won’t cause any havoc in your home!

They are assigned to Curse-Breakers by the Gringotts Head Goblin to burrow underground in search of treasures hidden in cursed sites. Did you know that this Niffler plush toy has a hidden compartment? He can keep your treasure safe in his front hidden pouch, like a kangaroo! This pocket is very well concealed! I didn’t realise until I joined in the Twitter party!

This big Niffler is very cuddly. The stitching and details on this plush are brilliant and it is very nicely finished all around. There is not a loose thread in sight, no lumpiness to the filling and no hard edges at all. It is made to a really high standard. They are suitable for aged three and above.

We have also received these three Niffler Babies plush toys: medium size grey, small brown & white and a small black. There are four different coloured Niffler Babies plush toys to collect for the medium and small sizes. Again, they are very well made with fleecy faces. These small Nifflers Babies plushes are small enough to be hidden inside the big Niffler’s pouch!

These plush toys are brilliant and the perfect size for stocking fillers. You can find them in independent toy stores!  Also do check out our Sorting Hat review!
