SuperZings: Rivals of Kaboom Superheroes and Villains Series 2 are out now to buy, just in time for back to school! This exciting range of collectables features 80 new multi-coloured characters and each with a matching ‘rival’.
In this series 2 collection, there is the ultra-rare ‘Professor K’ to collect. He is the inventor of ‘Krystaline’, a special substance that creates the SuperCrystal SuperZings. There are also two super rare gold: Candy Strike & Pumpking and six rare silver: Headstrong, Rocketball, Beatcrush, Super Riff, Lord Twister & Turbo Twist, and 24 SuperCrystal characters to collect too.
Adding to this collection, the Hideouts continue with a new cylindrical shape divided into two chambers and colourful sticker decals to heighten the collectability factor. The SuperZings vehicles get a refresh in Series 2 in the form of a range of SuperJets – motorbike, boat, helicopter and quad. There are eight to collect in a variety of different colours. There is also a Blister Pack of four characters containing a crystal SuperBlaster and a Blister Pack of ten characters including an ultra-rare gold SuperZing.
If you’ve not come across SuperZings before, they are mini superheroes and villains who live in the city of Kaboom. They have rival gangs, each of which has a leader and a vehicle or hideout. In this series 2, there are a total of six gangs and they are Power Gang, Bay Force, Crazy Rebels, Sky Unit, Water Warriors and Rocky Riders. Each gang is made up of six members and one rare silver captain.
Mr K loves collectables and was very excited to receive this huge bundle of SuperZings series 2 including: blind bags, Hideout blind bags, Superjet boxes, Blister pack and a starter pack.
In the blind bags, there is one mystery character and each bag only costs 80p which is very affordable!
Next, we have the Hideout blind bags which comes with one hideout and one character. This hideout is a very well made cylinder and is fun to play with. The hideout has a sliding door and they are easily stackable.
These Superjet boxes contain one character and a vehicle. We have three vehicles in total: motorbike (Xtreme Rider), helicopter (Sky Force) and a quad (Crazy Wheels). All these three vehicles look awesome and use good quality materials. It does not feel plasticky and should last for a while!
The blister pack contains two Hideouts, a Superblaster with three discs and four SuperZings (two blind packaged inside the Hideouts, and one rare silver captain)!
Last but not least, we have the starter pack, which I think is a must to have book for all collectors! It comes with a comic guidebook, which lists all characters, as well as a story introducing them and it comes with three characters and a special vehicle.
