JCB X SERIES 220xlc Review

27 August 2018 by Eileen 2 Comments

JCB X SERIES excavator is a brand new Britains die-cast farm toy to add to the JCB collectors’ collection! This stunning 1:32 JCB replica model is suitable for children aged 3 years onwards for farm role play and development, and is great for indoor and outdoor play.

JCB X SERIES review

This JCB X SERIES 220xlc excavator is designed to dig, shovel and lift to get large scale tasks done. It is the ideal partner to excavate any large pieces of land. It is a very well-made 1:32 replica that is constructed of a mix of die-cast metal and quality plastic with big rubber tracks.

JCB X Series measurement

This excavator measures 10.5 by 15 by 25.5 cm (without extending the arms). At 1:32 scale, it is a good size for playing along with other machinery from the Britains range. I love the high-quality die-cast metal details all-around this JCB and there is superb interior detail too. It is very realistic with hydraulic pistons to articulate the arm and the small bucket.

As we have seen with other toys from this range, some parts of this excavator are made from soft plastic which should make it more durable and avoid any accidental damage or injury. It is very well thought through to make it child-friendly!

This excavator moves smoothly in one direction with the big rubber tracks. It goes well with the Kane Bale Trailer for transportation!

Both of my children love this excavator and it makes a great addition to our Farm collection and is great for role play. Britains collectable toys are so robust that they should last for a long time. I would highly recommend them to anyone! They are available to buy in good toy retailers, online and Amazon.
