Inflata Nation Birmingham Review

Inflata Nation Birmingham has now opened their doors to the public! This £500,000 inflatable indoor theme park is located in Stechford Retail Park, which includes everything from a dedicated arena with its own slide and ball pool for under four year olds, to giant inflatable slides and an awesome two-lane assault course.

This place is great for family days out and can be enjoyed by all ages, shapes and physical ability. They also offer a variety of classes, such as fitness classes, disability friendly sessions, grown-ups only sessions, Inflata Tots sessions (just for pre-schoolers) and parties.

The place is easily accessed by car with plenty of free parking spaces and you can even do your shopping at the retail park before or after the sessions!

We were so thrilled to be the first few guests to get invited to Inflata Nation Birmingham last Thursday night. We didn’t know what to expect but did check out their video and read about some safety rules before we went.

I would recommend you wear socks, long sleeve tops and long trousers to prevent potential friction burns. Another point to remember is that always give others plenty of space. Also, remember to bring a £1 coin for the locker which is returnable.

The entrance fee is charged by per person and spectators entry is free. For children under the age of four, it is £5.95 for the first hour and an additional hour is £4. For children over the aged of four and adults, it is £9.95 for the first hour and an additional hour is £7. I think it is very reasonable price and an hour is more than enough for us but we did stay for almost 2 hours as we had so much fun!

Opposite the cafe is the Inflata Tots which is a dedicated under 4’s arena with a slide and ball pool. We didn’t check it out as both of my children were too old for it. It does look fairly big and with safety nets around it. Young children will be very safe in there.

Next to it, it is the Inflata Wreck which is a four-person giant inflatable wrecking ball game. Each one stands on this wobbly stand and try to avoid getting knocked off by the giant ball. I was so tempted to sit on the ball and sing like Miley Cyrus! Nevertheless, it was fun!

If you fancy just bouncing around, then you should get on to the Inflata Bubbles. This is an extra-large bouncy ‘bubble’ area and you can bounce yourself from one end to the other! It was fun!

The Inflata Wall is like rock climbing / bouldering (traversing) across the wall. It is very interesting but note that it is one person on one wall at a time.

One of my favourite areas is the Inflata Duo, which is a giant dual lane drop slide. It is awesomely fast and smooth to slide all the way down. It is a steep drop that gives you quite the adrenaline rush!

Both of my children love to race us in the two-lane assault course Inflata Race! With both of them being so small and agile, they scampered around so much quicker and faster while my husband and I got left behind!

Another popular area is the gladiator duel platform Inflata Dual. Arm yourself with the pugil sticks and dual with your opponent to see if you win or take a tumble! I was so bad at it that even my daughter managed to take me down!

There are so many other courses to try, like the Inflata Drop slide with giant ball pool, the Inflata Grab which is like a real-life multi-person human version of Hungry Hippos and air filled inflatable pillars Inflata Bash that you can bash around. If you need to replenish your energy, there is plenty of seating at the Cafe or upstairs where you can relax with free Wi-Fi.
