Back to School with GB Posters

22 August 2018 by Eileen

In less than two weeks’ time, the summer holidays will be over and children will be back to school! Will this be a ‘yay’ or ‘nay’? Do you like to plan ahead or leave everything until the very last minute? This is the time to start getting organised before it is too late! Well, unless you live in Scotland where the school term has already started!

We were thrilled that GB Posters sent us a range of awesome accessories and stationery to help our children get back into their school mode as soon as possible! I hope this post will give you some inspiration so you can start planning now!

GB posters back to school review

GB Posters stock a wide variety of popular brands’ accessories and stationery, like Harry Potter, Pokémon, Star Wars, Paw Patrol, Avengers and many more, which will cater for most fans!

Mr K loves his superheroes. He was very thrilled to have received The Flash keyring, The Flash button badges, The Flash cardholder, Justice League lanyard with keyring and Batman water bottle. They are all great quality items and definitely superb value for money. We are so pleased with them and they sure have revitalised Mr K with them! He is excited to pin up all his Flash buttons on his school bag to go along with the rest of the items.

GB posters water bottle

The Batman water bottle is made from lightweight aluminium and has a folding straw. The Batman cartoon print on the bottle is excellent and looks fun. It is designed to fit in any can holder, cup holder or children’s lunch box or backpack. The lid is also shaped like a hook to make it easy to hold. This versatile bottle is suitable for handwashing and cold drinks only. It is easy to disassemble and wash, with its screw-on lid.

On the other hand, Ms C is very much into her Pokémon stuff and was so excited when she saw the Pokémon Mewtwo mug and Pikachu cardholder! Ms C might be too young to use the cardholder but in no time, she will need it to keep her bus pass!

We also received the Yu Gi Oh mug, which is one of Mr K’s favourite cartoons too! We are making good use of these two mugs, especially in the morning and bedtime where they use it for a cup of milk to start and end their day! These licensed mugs are nicely printed and suitable for microwaves and dishwashers. They also make a great gift for presents or Secret Santa! Continuing the Yu Gi Oh theme, we also have this lovely poster for his bedroom!

There are many posters available and to get them back to school on the right track, we have also received a range of educational posters to get children excited with!

GB posters world map

First, let’s start with the World Map maxi poster. This is a stunning map of the world based on the design by worldwide renown publisher Harper Collins. It features a wealth of information including country flags, time zones and area in both square meters and square feet. Printed in high resolution and with vivid colours, this map notes all major cities and areas as well as details on major bodies of water on 150gram gloss paper. It measures 61 by 91.5cm and you can frame it, just like we did, by using their Black MDF maxi frame.

GB posters solar system

Next, we have the Solar System maxi poster which was requested by Mr K. He loves learning about all the planets on the solar system. This brilliant educational poster makes understanding easy with incredibly informative diagrams explaining the different facts and makeup of each planet. This is their brand new poster that has just been added to their range and it is printed on 150gram gloss paper. Again the size of this poster fits into the Black MDF maxi frame we had.

gb posters skeleton

Another brand new maxi poster is the anatomical Skeleton, which explores the wonders of the human body from Chartex. It is printed on 150gram gloss paper and fits into the Black MDF maxi frame we had.

periodic table elements 2018 giant poster

Last but not least, we have another brand new item from their site. It is the Giant Periodic Table 100 by 140cm scientific poster featuring a replication of the periodic table of elements. This is a completely up-to-date poster printed in vibrant colours and a great reference tool for students or professionals. This would be a lovely chart for a school setting! Of course, if you prefer to have a smaller version, GB Posters do have a maxi size poster to fit your wall!

GB Posters have tons of awesome merchandise out there for all ages! If you spend over £25, they offer free delivery and by signing on their newsletter, you will get an extra 10% off! Do check them out and let me know how you get on!

  1. How To Carry On Studying When You're A Busy Parent - ET Speaks From Home says:

[…] If you’re daunted about going to university as a mature student because you don’t have the time, then don’t be put off by this. There are plenty of ways to study, and no university experience looks the same for everybody. You can study part-time, which essentially means that your course will double in length (a two year course will turn into four years) but you’ll be doing half of the full-time weekly hours. No matter how long it takes you to do your degree, the point is that you actually get it. So don’t be worried about going part-time, especially if your only free time is when your kids are at school.
