Last Saturday, we were celebrating Beatrix Potter’s birthday and the release of the Peter Rabbit movie on Digital, DVD and Blu-ray, which is available to buy now in good retailers, supermarkets and online! We have received this cute exclusive party pack from Sony Pictures, which contains the baskets filled with soft toys, seeds, garden fork, popcorn and DVD to watch at home.
The Peter Rabbit movie sees Peter Rabbit’s feud with Mr McGregor spiral to new heights as they rival for the affections of animal-lover Bea. Peter Rabbit and his three sisters – Flopsy, Mopsy and Cotton-Tail, enjoy spending their days in Mr McGregor’s vegetable garden. When one of McGregor’s relatives suddenly moves in, he is less than thrilled to discover a family of rabbits in his new home. A battle of wills soon breaks out as the new owner hatches scheme after scheme to get rid of Peter – a resourceful rabbit who proves to be a worthy and wily opponent.
Earlier this year, Ms C and I went to watch this movie at the cinema and loved this heartfelt movie. We both enjoyed the storyline and of course, the animation was great and uses the Lake District as the scenery backdrop which looks so picturesque. This is a great family movie that will appeal to many young children and Peter Rabbit fans.
