Weird But True! 2018 Annual Review

17 December 2017 by Eileen

Weird But True! 2018 Annual is loaded with jaw-dropping, eye-popping, brain-bending facts and bright, bold photography! This is based on the popular National Geographic Weird but True! series that contains the planet’s quirkiest, wackiest facts with the coolest and strangest true stories. Ranging from geographical curiosity to animal wonders, gross inventions to weird food, the Weird but True! series is a fabulous read!

Weird But True! 2018 Annual Review

This book is a hardback containing about 192 pages filled with facts and stories about geography, biology, the animal kingdom, social sciences, human achievement and innovation. The font comes in various sizes. It was released on 7th September 2017 and published by Collins in partnership with National Geographic Kids.

Weird But True! 2018 Annual content

The book contains 10 chapters: Amazing Earth, Time Travelling, Incredible Creatures, Bright Ideas, Mindboggling Buildings, Get A Move On, Out of This World, Sporting Superstars, Coolly Creative and Grub’s Up and includes a fact-finding index. This book is easy to read and beautifully laid out. It is perfect for sharing and reading together.

Mr K loves to read about the facts and finds it very informative and engaging. Did you know that beavers’ teeth never stop growing? Beaver’s teeth are strong and they need to chew wood every day to stop their teeth getting too long! Also did you know what the tallest statue in the world is? It is the Spring Temple Buddha in China which was built on top of a Buddhist monastery and was reported to have used 1,000 tonnes of copper to build. That is impressive!

Weird But True! 2018 Annual book

This is definitely a book to read and keep for the years to come! This wild and wacky annual is perfect for fact seekers and filled with the quirkiest facts about the animal kingdom, science, geography, plus many more topics for budding explorers. It is available to buy now from good book stores and Amazon.

National Geographic Kids website would love to offer my readers an amazing 50% discount off their range of titles to use over Christmas and into the new year. Please use code: 50OFF at checkout to receive the discount.
