To coincide with the upcoming Thor: Ragnarok film in the cinemas from 27th October, the international leading supplier of figures, Schleich have launched the mighty Thor figurine which is a superb likeness to the character. It is suitable for children aged four and above.
Thor is a fictional superhero of the Justice League appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Thor, the Viking god, is almost invincible. His mighty hammer, Mjolnir, allows him to control storms, thunder and lightning, and it always returns to the hand of its powerful master. He comes from Asgard. When his father Odin, king of the gods, sends him to earth, he becomes a member of the Avengers so that he can fight side by side with other superheroes against the forces of evil – above all, his hate-filled brother, Loki.
This smart looking figurine wears the exact outfit as the character in the new film. The figurine has long wavy blonde hair and is wearing his helmet. It features muscle detail and includes a cape and his hammer Mjolnir. He is hand-painted and he looks absolutely stunning.
He wears wrist armour on each arm. His right hand is armed with his hammer and he is clenching his left hand. He stands 10.5 cm tall including his base. He has no articulation and is fixed on the 6.2cm by 9cm base. I love all the detailed features. He is very realistic! He is everything you need to relive the exciting film storyline.

Mr K loves this figurine and can’t wait to add more superhero figurines to his existing Wonder Woman (DC) figurine. They are ideal for acquiring one by one to build a bigger collection but they’re not really ideal for playing due to no articulate. They are great value for money and I would recommend them.
