Schleich Large Skull Trap with Velociraptor Review

21 September 2017 by Eileen 2 Comments

This is a highly detailed Schleich Large Skull Trap playset which is the latest new addition to the Schleich Dinosaurs collection. This terrifying playset promises endless pre-historic adventure for young ones! The Schleich dinosaur range is suitable for children aged four and above.

Schleich Large Skull Trap with Velociraptor review

We were so excited when we saw this giant fossil-like skull trap with the hollow cavity of the skull which makes the perfect setting for imaginative play. It measures 15cm width by 24cm long by 18cm tall. The trap snaps shut when you press the tip of its nose.

Don’t be fooled by the look of this skull trap! It might look like it’s made from hard plastic but it’s actually a good quality soft touch plastic. This will be safer for children and will help ease any concerns parents might have about accidentally shutting the skull.

This playset also includes the exciting Velociraptor figure which features moveable arms and jaw plus two other dinosaurs. The finish on the dinosaurs is to a very high standard. Undoubtedly, Schleich toys are very durable and are made to last for a long time. Each dinosaur has their own distinctive pose, looks very threatening and have detailed features. All three are able to stand on their own. All Schleich figures are lovingly hand-painted with detailed modelling.

We all love this dinosaur range as it encourages a child’s imagination and is a great set for any young dinosaur lover. I would highly recommend it. It is great value for money and ideal for a Christmas present. My nephews would definitely love this! Do read my previous review on their first dinosaur range.
