ZURU Micro Boats Shark Attack Review

19 June 2016 by Eileen

Want an epic speed boat race against your friends with this ZURU Micro Boats Shark Attack playset?  Then read on for more info about this micro-robotic sensor technology boat!

Following the phenomenal success of ZURU’S multi award-winning ROBOFish range, ZURU are proud to launch their new water activated micro boats. They can speed in 4 directions, spinning out in 360 degrees and with their sensor, they can even reverse when they hit a wall! This is such a smart micro boat that is was an instant hit for our children!

This playset comes with the figure of eight barrelled track, a working crane, a yellow plastic deep sea dipper and micro boat. There are five to collect and the one we received comes in yellow and red stripes. This clever lightweight micro boat will turn itself on when its touches water, and it will turn off once it is out of water and dry! The micro boat takes three LR03 batteries and a set are included which should last you up to 1.5 hours of constant play.

The track is lightweight and it didn’t take me long to assemble it.  Once it is clicked in place, the whole track is sealed and it is ready to be filled with water. I didn’t use the dipper that is provided in the set as it is too small and it would take a long time to fill the track!  I simply used a three litre jug to fill the whole track. Watch our video review and see how the micro boat speeds along! https://youtu.be/-DWEYyS8dz0

We love that the micro boat is able to move in different directions and it provides my children hours of fun! They love to grab the boat using the crane and the shark attack to stop the boat! The quality of the track is great and it should last for a long time. Besides using the micro boat in the track, you could also use it in a bath tub as it’s completely waterproof and could even be submerged. It is available to buy from Asda, Morrisons, Sainsbury’s, Smyths, Tesco, Toy Master and Toys ‘R’ Us.

This looks like great fun and a bit different. I can imagine my little boy having lots of fun with this.
