X-SHOT Bug Attack Combo Rapid Fire & Eliminator Review

22 June 2016 by Eileen

Bestselling X-SHOT are launching their three latest additions to the X-SHOT Bug Attack range: X-SHOT Bug Attack Bow and Arrow, X-SHOT Bug Attack Predator TK-3 and X-SHOT Bug Attack Combo Rapid Fire and Eliminator.

X-SHOT Bug Attack Combo Rapid Fire and Eliminator Review

What we have here is the Combo Rapid Fire and Eliminator which comes with Rapid Fire Dart Blaster, Eliminator, five wall crawl bugs and 24 darts. It is suitable for aged eight and above. It can fire the darts up to 55ft/17m long! We are very impressed with the distance it can cover! We have tried to play it at home and it was able to fire from one end of one room through the doors to the end of the other!

The rapid fire blaster has a 6 dart barrel, it is lightweight and comes with bright colours. It is a very attractive gun! The rough surface on the handle helps your hands grip and it is comfortable.  The darts are easy to load into the barrel by sliding them in. To fire each dart, it requires you to pull the hook to prime the dart. For younger children, it can be quite tiring to repeatedly pull to prime the dart but for adults, it seems alright for me!

As for the eliminator, it comes with a double barrel and a pump action. Each time, you can upload two darts but it can only fire one dart at a time.  Each time, it requires you to pull to prime the dart.  The eliminator is lightweight and easy to hold. It measures 56 cm long! It is a very impressive gun. My son loves this even though it can only hold two darts at a time. He loves to play fight with it!

This also comes with five wall crawl bugs which work better on glass/windows or door. The bugs comes with six sticky feet which allow them to crawl. My son experimented by throwing them on to a brick wall and the bugs were able to stick well but it wasn’t able to drop down/crawl. In the end, I had to pick each one off the wall.

Overall we all had fun firing at each other while wearing safety goggles and love the distance that these can cover. I would recommend them! This is available to buy from: ASDA, B&M, Shop Direct, Smyths, Tesco and Toys R Us.
