Stellar Chef’s Pan Review

7 June 2016 by Eileen

Each Stellar Chef’s pan provides real versatility of function and it is suitable for use on all hob types and oven safe up to 210°C.  I am not great at cooking but using the right tools definitely helps me a lot in the kitchen.

This Chef’s pan ticks all the right boxes for me.  It is dishwasher safe but I have been hand-washing it all the time as I don’t own a dishwasher!  It is so easy to clean with just warm soapy water and you can simply soak it before washing for more stubborn stains.

Storage is always a big problem for us as I am struggling for space in my kitchen.  I find that this pan is rather compact and can nest inside one another for easy storage.

The pan is made from 18/10 stainless steel with a riveted handle.  It is a utensil that serves more than one purpose! As this pan has tall sloping sides, I have use it as a frying pan, wok and pot like for boiling yummy miso soup with it!  It works!

The pans are available in three different sizes: 16 cm (500ml), 20 cm (850ml) and 24 cm (1.45litre).  This one that I am using is the 24cm which has the capacity of 1.45 litre.  The pan diameter is 24 cm, base diameter 18 cm, overall length 43 cm and overall height is 13 cm.  This is a great size for a family of four!  These pans come with Stellar’s lifetime guarantee to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal household use.

I love using this pan as it is lightweight, very well-built and has a comfortable and a handle that doesn’t get too hot to touch! Also, the best part is this is oven safe which means I can pop the pan into the oven to cook for example duck’s breast and keep the food warm in the oven. I would definitely recommend this pan! It is available to buy in good shops and Amazon.
