Father’s Day Gift with Liberty Trading

17 June 2016 by Eileen

The Liberty Trading Company Limited are an online retailer based in South Yorkshire, offering an exciting collection of original and affordable gifts for everyone, from the latest trends through to traditional and retro style items. They first started selling on Amazon and eBay back in 2011 and have continually extended their ranges. In 2012 they launched this website and have grown from there.

This Father’s day, I decided to get these two retro style items: Dinky Diner Candy Floss machine and Gumball machine that I know Mr C would love!  Who wouldn’t like one of these!

Now we can make fresh and delicious candy floss in the comfort of our home!  This is a great treat for all of us especially as we can enjoy candy floss with our movie nights!  This machine is easy to set up with minimal assembly. Before we start making candy floss, we need to warm up the machine for 5 minutes.  Once it is warm, you need to switch it off and start loading the sugar onto the plate. Each scoop will provide a decent amount of candy floss. I must say, during the first time I used the machine, I was nervous of scalding my fingers.  Luckily this machine is quite straightforward to use.  Simply turn on the power after loading the machine and wait for a minute or so, you will see string like floss around the dish. Keep rotating your wooden stick and it will grab onto it.  Both of my children were amazed! This machine can only be used 30 minutes each time and you have to rest it for 5 minutes before you use it again.

Next what we have here is the gumball machine!  This is a high quality aluminium metal Gumball Machine which can hold over 750g of your favourite sweets. It is completely coin operated by using 1p, 5p and 20p pieces. To place the candy, you will need to disassemble the top red cap to place the candy.  To remove the coins, you will need to disassemble the whole unit to get it! This is definitely a very nice gift for daddy to top up my saving each time he needs a sweetie!

I find that Liberty Trading have a lot of unusual and retro gifts for everyone and you should have no problems finding something you like. They aim to ship off the order on the same day or following day and offer Second Class Royal Mail delivery up to 2kg for free to the UK mainland. The postage is reasonable and it can be tracked. We are very pleased with their packaging and delivery.  Also Mr C is a very happy father!  Check out the website here: https://www.libertytrading.co.uk/

Disclosure: We received the samples for the purposes of writing this review, however all thoughts and opinions remain our own.
