Disney Art Therapy Colouring Book

3 April 2016 by Eileen

Have you seen these gorgeous Disney Art Therapy colouring books from Parragon Books?  These books are suitable for older children up to adults.  It features patterns, symbols and imagery from the Disney Frozen and Disney Princess franchise.

Many say that working with your hands is one of the best ways to soothe anxiety and eliminate stress. Colouring will help with the stress relieving effect that increasing focus and creativity can provide. There are no rules or complicated step-by-step instructions in these pages and no need for expensive art and craft supplies! Any colouring pencils or felt pens will do the job!  You can simply scribble, scrawl and shade to your creativity!

To be honest, I am not a person who likes to colour, in fact, it does stress me out as I want it to be perfect. Then I realised that I just need to relax and colour whatever I like as no one is there to judge my colouring! These are totally no fault of the books. They are brilliant with all the beautiful patterns. The challenge for me is to colour inside the line. I’m not great at it!  It is available in good book stores and Amazon: Disney Frozen and Disney Princess.

We have also made an Easter Bunny from their brand new ‘Make it By the Book’ craft book.  You can download the template and instructions via Parragon blog here.

This is quite easy to make and of course, it looks extremely cute too!  It did take my daughter and I over an hour, just to stick, cut and fix! The end result is stunning!  We love this cute bunny! We didn’t get this Make it By the Book for review but if you like what you see, you might want to get it from your local book store or Amazon.  There are a total of 80 craft ideas to do with your children!

Disclosure: I received these books from the publisher for free.
