Star Monsters Pocket Friends Series 1 Review

28 February 2016 by Eileen Leave a Comment

Star Monsters pocket friends has recently launched their first series with 72 characters to collect. These triangular stars are quirky, funny characters, unlike anything that you have ever seen. There are so many Star Monsters to meet: Essential, Evolved, Rare, Ultra Rare and many more.

The base of the Star Monster is always a three pointed star. At the bottom of the base, it will tell you the Family, Evolution Level, Rarity, Star Value and Collection Number.

The place where the Star Monster is formed will influence which one of the 4 Star Monster families it will belong to.

  • Air: These stars fell through large clouds and winds. They are better at flying or jumping, than sliding.
  • Earth: They usually have angular or rocky shapes. They look very solid and strong.
  • Plant: Formed in a wood or a garden, these Star Monsters have plant properties.
  • Water: They can be wavy or slippery. There are some with scales and fins like fish.

There are also Star Monsters in exclusive Silver, Gold, Evolution level 1 and 2.

There are five different blind bag products to buy: two pack, mini capsule, capsule, bag and blister. Also not forgetting collector tin and album guide.

The two pack comes with two stickers and two Star Monsters. The mini capsule comes with two mini capsules, two stickers and two Star Monsters. The mini capsule is a base to display your Star Monster. It can also be connected into several rows and towers. The capsule range comes with one capsule, one Essential Star Monster and one Evolution Star Monster. Mr K loves the capsule as you can store at least 10 Star Monsters and bring it out. The bag comes with one drawstring bag and three Star Monsters. Lastly is the blister which comes with two regular Star Monsters, one Essential, one Evolution, one Silver/Gold and 1 Silver/Gold mini capsule. Come and watch this unboxing video by Mr K who will be revealing the characters.

Besides collecting them, you can also play games with it. You can either follow the games on the album guide or invent your own game!

Each character is well made using a hard durable plastic and has lovely colours. Mr K loves these Star Monsters and can’t wait to get more using his pocket money! He had so much fun playing with them! Do check out their website for more details: http://www.starmonsters.net
