U Hugs Dolls Review

22 January 2016 by Eileen

Have you seen this exciting new range of U Hugs collectable quirky characters from Flair? This cute collection is suitable for children aged six onwards and allows children to express their style, mood and personality.

There are six to collect and you choose the one that most matches your style and then build your collection from there. Each of the six soft plastic bodied dolls have different faces and personalities and come complete with a selection of accessories. Each doll has holes around its body ready for pins and personalisation, plus 12 pins to start each unique transformation. You can change and switch each character’s style and look each day, either to match their mood, look or alter ego.

The oldest member of the team is Sassy Fashion who is an absolute mobile phone addict. She is totally adorable and comes with mobile phone, pink pin, two black brooches, skull pin, pink glasses, a pair of black shoes and a “UH” pin with string. Both her upper limbs can rotate and her hat is not removable.

Next I have Sweety Rock here who has a very determined personality and tries to keep all the other girls in order! She comes with green bun hair, pink guitar, cape, pink lighting pin, bat pin, a pair of black shoes, scary eyes pin, Dracula mouth and a “UH” pin with string.

Cleverly, each accessory can fit any of the other U Hug dolls, so by collecting all six versions, children can create an endless number of variations. The other four dolls are Scary Baby, Scratchy DJ, Starry Fairy and Screamy Queen!

At the back of each doll, there is a little pocket for you to store the accessories! What a clever idea! My daughter adores these two dolls. They are super cute!

These are cute, love that you can store all the accessories in the back, that’s a brilliant idea!

These are definitely very different to anything I have seen before. I am sure in a few years they are the kind of thing my daughter would like.
