Wrapping Ukulele Challenge

23 December 2015 by Eileen 2 Comments

Wrapping Ukulele Challenge! Wrapping presents are a big part of Christmas and sometimes certain objects can be difficult to wrap such as bicycles, bottles, golf clubs, etc. Rather timely, I recently reviewed this awesome perfect wrapping gift idea book so have been able to put it into practise.

Now musicroom is challenging me to do the best wrapping of a Ukulele! They have created this series of funny wrapping videos that show that wrapping instruments are particularly difficult. You can watch it here: https://youtu.be/IFHYBFaKNHs

We have received this red Pure Tone Ukulele Pack (which is available in 7 colours: red, hot pink, black, kahana, natural, deluxe natural and surf blue) and the wrapping paper for this challenge. This great value ukulele is suitable for any age and musical ability. It has a smooth gloss finish, and comes with a fitted gig bag and beginner’s guide book to get you started in your playing. This is definitely perfect for Ms C. She loves music and has been keen to get a musical instrument.

To wrap this present, you would need a huge piece of wrapping paper. I have joined two wrapping sheets together, created a few tucks in the middle and then secured it with tape. When sealing the top, I have created pleats by folding back and forth. I then used the silver string to make a “V”. To add more decoration to the present, I decided to use the decorative tape to go around the present.

Now this is how it looks. I hope I have passed my challenge! So what about you? What has been your most challenging gift to wrap? For me, it has to be golf club as we couldn’t find enough wrapping paper to go around it!

Disclosure: We received the samples for the purposes to do this challenge however all thoughts and opinions remain our own.
