Want to scare your friends with this creepy crawly spider? He looks very fierce and freaky too. There are four different characters to collect with this Wild Pets Spider range: Creepster, Eyegore, Chiller and Wolfgang. Each have their own distinctive colour. This is suitable for aged 5 and above.
This is Wolfgang which comes with black, orange and white stripes with a red mark in the middle of its body. The body is covered with fur-like material in a hard plastic body with eight rubbery legs. It requires 3x 1.5V batteries which are included with the spider. It has an on/off button on its base.
It comes with three modes which are creep mode, explore mode and attack mode. To switch between the modes, simply pat your spider on two of its back sensors. When the spider is in creep mode, his LED eyes will light up blue. He likes to creep around the small room quietly. When he is in explore mode, his LED eyes will light up green. He will then explore the bigger room before he reverts to creep mode. When the spider is in attack mode, his LED eyes will light up red.
This spider does look realistic and interesting to play with. Mr K was scared when we first switched it on! It took him a while to get use to the spider but even now he is still very cautious! He enjoys watching the spider explore the room and see how it moves around the room. I like how the spider doesn’t get himself trapped in a corner. With its clever mechanism, it will reverse and turn around to explore other area! So you wouldn’t find him in a corner!
I can see my son using the spider to trick his friends and especially his sister. Ms C didn’t like the spider at all. This would definitely be a hit during Halloween time for children who enjoy tricking people! This toy is available to buy from Character Online, good retailers and Amazon.
