Degustabox Review

6 May 2015 by Eileen

Are you adventurous with food? Would you like to try 9 – 14 different types of food products each month? Degustabox will be a great solution for you! This April month has an international food theme. If you don’t drink alcohol, you will receive an alcohol free box!

Opening the box, it was very neatly packed with lots of bubble wrap to protect those breakable items. They also included product information and flyer /recipe. The flyer  has little flags on it to help understand where the foods have come from if you are interested. It also has the price list and recipe on  the back of the flyer.

I like this month ’s International theme as I love to try foods  from all over the world . I might not like it all but it is very interesting to try them in small portions rather than getting them in bulk and hating them. Although the products are very random, it did provide us as a family of four two course meals for lunch and dinner. Also snacks too!

Inside this box, there are a total of 17 items which are Veetee rice, Barry’s Tea, Cirio, Kinder chocolate, Schwartz packets, Nando’s crisps, Debeukelaer Cookies Bakery, Scheckter’s Organic Energy drink, Idrinq enhancement, Wonjo and Kingfisher  beer.

I like the idea of a surprise box for each month! In fact, before I received this Degustabox, my son was telling me that he saw someone from YouTube had made a video of themselves testing a Japan Kawaii box where he tried out all different types  of food. My son wanted one too. He thinks that this is so intriguing and he wants to try it!

Anyway, I decided to use the Schwartz Korma and Balti along with Cirio tomatoes tin to make a family meal. While we adults had the spicier Balti with Kingfisher beer, the children ate the Korma. As for snacks/dessert, we had the Nando’s crisps, Kinder chocolate and Debeukelaer cookies which are wrapped in individual packets! They all taste great!

So if you like a bit of a surprise each month, do subscribe to Degustabox and use this code 35SRB to give you a £3.00 discount when registering! Each month, you will get 9 to 14 surprise products and many are completely new to the market. You only pay £12.99 including delivery. There is no commitment and you can cancel any time.

Disclosure: We received the sample for the purposes of writing this review, however, all thoughts and opinions remain our own.
