ChillFactor Drink Bottle Review

11 May 2015 by Eileen

ChillFactor have churned out yet another useful gadget! From a slush maker to ice cream maker, jelly maker and now a chilled drinks bottle! You will get a chilled drink within a minute!

Before you start using the drinks bottle, disassemble everything before washing. There are instructions included which shows you the step-by-step with picture captions. Pop the cooling pack into the freezer for 4 – 6 hours or until it is frozen before assembling it so that it’s ready to use.

In this video, I will show you how to disassemble the drinks bottle and how it works. It is so easy that anyone could do it! It takes 30 seconds or more before the drink is totally chilled. Watch it here: https://youtu.be/6CJEHDqa4E4

The cup is made from soft silicon and the inner lining (cooling pack) is like strips of ice packs. It is easy to wash and disassemble. You can either use the sip spout or straw spout. The lid, top collar, lower collar and washer are top-rack dishwasher safe. The silicon bottle and the cooling pack are hand washable only. The product is BPA free. The bottle will change its colour when it is chilled.

I love the idea of having a cold drink any time you like and it will be a massive hit in our house during summer time! Both my children especially my son would love it and will use it regularly. It is a shame that the cooling pack will take another 4 – 6 hours to freeze it again before we can re-use it. It is recommended that the cooling pack is stored upright in the freeze to minimise evaporation and ensure the quality and life of the product!

Each drinks bottle can take about 600ml (1 pint) of liquid but not carbonated drinks. This is a good amount for each individual especially when the weather is warm. It is best to use drinks that are chilled or at room temperature. Hot water will not give you the desired result and may result in damaging your product (max temp is 60°C).

ChillFactor can be found in retailers such as Character Online, Smyths Toys, Amazon and Argos. There are a range of colours and they are suitable for children age 3 and above.

What a great idea – particularly with summer on the way!

We have the pink and purple one. Miss M loves it and has used it everyday – I think it’ll be great on summer days out!
