Spring Craft & Mothers Day gift

7 February 2015 by Eileen

Crafting is something I love to do with my children and also when young guests here. It keeps them entertained and gives them something to take home. Baker Ross have well packed craft kits that cater for all age groups with plenty to share. So last week, we invited our friends around to our house to do spring craft and make a Mothers Day gift before we went to watch Big Hero 6.

We have received bird decoration sewing kits, flower foam glasses, Easter mosaic wand kits, Mothers Day wooden key ring kits, shredded colourful paper, flower foam and many more.

I love that inside each kit there are plenty to share among the children and also they are always of good quality and come with full instructions. Each kit is well packed, well priced and great for party bags. The kits are easy to follow and make. This is what we made.

All children love the Easter mosaic wands! They are so beautiful and great for playing afterwards. These mosaic wands are made from foam. They are easy to stick on and great for fine motor skills. Each kit contains Easter templates, self-adhesive foam mosaic tiles, wooden sticks, ribbons and instructions. There are four sets included in this kit.

Now they could all present it to their mum. The wooden key ring is easy to make but all children needed adult help to tie a knot on the ring.

Later, we made a spring craft card using the self-adhesive foam to send it to our family in Singapore.

Each kit contains pre-punched felt pieces, self-adhesive felt shapes, yarn, plastic needle, stuffing and instructions. There are three assorted designs – green, blue and yellow. Once complete, they look brilliant and could be used to hang on the door for example.

Disclosure: We received the sample for the purposes of writing this review, however, all thoughts and opinions remain our own.
