Our Super Soft Mission

30 November 2014 by Eileen

This post is an entry for Mission Deli Wraps “Our Super Soft Mission” challenge.

Our Super Soft Mission

Mission Foods, the UK’s No.1 brand of bakery wraps, introduced its Super Soft recipe to the UK market this summer. Their new softer wrap doesn’t dry out and retains its freshly made taste, without compromising on taste or versatility.

Now they are inviting bloggers of Britain to submit a blog post documenting a week in their life with a series of photos showcasing their softer moments. Those moments when you feel all warm and fuzzy whether it’s seeing your best friend or putting on a brand new item of clothing to having a warm meal.

Let’s start with last Saturday, when Ms C was admitted to Birmingham Children’s Hospital for her MRI head scan. It was daunting experience to put my own child under General Anaesthetic. After she finished her scan, I got to cuddle and smoother her like a baby again while trying to get her to awaken. It was a very warming experience to cuddle and comfort her. Soon after when we reached home, she was full of beans again!

Then on Sunday, we went to the Cadbury World Christmas experience blogger event and of course there were so many delicious chocolates to devour! While we were at the factory tour, each of us received a cup of warm melted chocolate milk with choices of toppings! How cool is that!

On Monday morning, I had followed Belling UK on Twitter and was informed that I won tickets to the BBC Good Food Show at NEC Birmingham! That was a great feeling to win the tickets! Now I can try out lots of winter warmer foods or maybe eat a soft wrap!

On Tuesday, I had a busy morning making a winter warmer recipe – creamy chicken pie. It tasted great! Even after leaving the pie out for 15 minutes, the pie was still very warm inside with tender chicken pieces!

On Wednesday, it was a quite miserable day, so I had my ‘granny nap’ with my soft warming blanket! This is one of the best bedroom gadgets! It heats up very quickly and consistently and is perfect to feel nice, snug and warm.

On Thursday, my daughter made me a card to show me how much she loves us and even added her brother’s name into it. They are always squabbling and it is nice to know that she loves her brother. I might have a little tear.

On Friday after school, we played dressing up the snowman. So we took a few rolls of soft toilet paper along with hats, scarves, carrot and ducktape. We all took turns to wrap the person with the toilet paper and dress them up as snowman! Both of them were giggling all the way through.

This was our family diary week of soft moment’s. So what has been your soft moments this week?
