OXO Good Grips Spatula Review

13 September 2014 by Eileen

OXO Good Grips have recently launched a new colourful range of spatulas that helps brighten your kitchen and colour your life! They are made from silicone and are heat resistant up to 315°C, meaning that they won’t discolour, warp or melt. Each spatula features a soft, comfortable, non-slip grip and are safe for coated or non-stick cookware and bakeware. However, the downside is that the handle does attract dust though!

They also come in two sizes: small and medium. I have received a small and medium spatula and a medium spoon spatula. They are sturdy, made of great quality materials and does a fantastic job of scraping, stirring and spooning your mixture. Each spatula comes with a soft flexible tip that allows it to bend slightly. This is important to allow it to be able to easily scrape the foods off from the corners of your pots and pans.

I used the spoon spatula recently to cook my Sweet Thai Chilli seafood noodle and I also made jelly using the small spatula!

I also used it to bake my mooncake. However, I was unable to blog about my baked mooncake as I accidentally had the oven set too high and burnt it!

But I did make the Swiss roll snow skin mooncake! Do check out how I made this beautiful mooncake and not forgetting the colourful snow skin mooncake. Thanks to OXO Good Grips spatulas!

I love the range of colours: raspberry, blue, green, white and red. The colours are very vibrant and looks bang up to date in the modern kitchen. I would definitely recommend them. You won’t be disappointed with the colour nor the quality.

So what do you think about these colourful spatulas? Do you have a colour theme in your kitchen? I do! My kitchen is going to be turning red soon. I am slowly trying to get more colour themed appliances. I have had enough of black coloured appliances which makes our kitchen too dull.

Disclosure: We have received the sample for the purposes of writing this review, however, all thoughts and opinions remain our own. Image used with permission.
