23 June 2014 by Eileen

Woolly and Tig is a series of 5 minute live action dramas about a three year old girl (Tig) and her toy spider (Woolly). Over the years, Woolly and Tig have launched a range of toys, books, DVDs and an app. We had recently reviewed the DVD, app and books.

There are 20 fun filled songs from the TV show:

  • Big Stomps
  • If There wasn’t a “No”
  • The Thunder Bang Song
  • Funky Dunky
  • Bunches
  • Rubba Dubba Rock
  • I Like Monsters
  • Counting Kisses
  • I Love Woolly
  • Holidays
  • Elves & Shoemaker
  • Give a Smile
  • Weenie Worries
  • I Love Mummy
  • Mairi’s Wedding
  • Cheeky Wee Echo
  • One More Step
  • Agree to Disagree
  • Auld Lang Syne
  • Counting Kisses Woolly’s Solo

The songs are fun, easy to sing along and with great lyrics. Each song is related to the show where Woolly teaches Tig/children about new experiences, provides empathy and reassurance to enable Tig and the children to face unfamiliar situations with confidence. Ms C finds the CD enjoyable. This will definitely appeal to younger children. They could listen to it in the car or whenever they like! We have a CD playing in their playroom where the children can play the music whenever they want! Do look out for the CD which will be available from 7th July!
