Having family time during Easter Holidays!

23 April 2014 by Eileen

This year Easter, we didn’t have any plans except having plenty of family time.  It has been a very busy year for Mr C with his work and holidays tend to be ‘staycations’ at the moment!  So we have used these long weekends playing games at home.  Also we are not Christian hence we don’t celebrate with family or friends.

It was such a perfect day to play football and badminton with the kids!  Mr K loved playing football with Mr C while I did a bit of gardening and Ms C loves playing on the swing.  We are very proud of her as she is able to get up on the swing and swing by herself now.  She was unable to do so a couple of months ago but one day she just got it!

While playing in the garden, we found that we had a quite a large sink hole on our lawn. We decided to dig it up and fill the hole. While digging up the lawn, we found a plastic box and many large bricks and stones just underneath the topsoil. With all this rubbish, it’s no wonder the soil level has changed and the grass has never grown very well.

And look who came to help us. It is Skylanders Grilla Drilla! He is of the life element and helped us to dig a hole! Not wanting to miss out on the fun, he joined in with playing badminton but unfortunately he got stuck in between the net. He also loves to join in the fun with Mr K playing monkey swing. We then brought him out for a car trip. He was an excellent mate to keep Ms C company in the car while we waited for daddy and Mr K to rejoin us.

Mr K loves Skylanders Grilla Drilla as it completes Mr K’s collection of Swap Force elements and he is powerful at digging and helping his fellow Skylanders to protect residents of Skylands and win the battle. He able to punch nearby enemies, summon a pair of crazy monkeys and unleash punches that deal increased damage!
