Cleaning with e-cloth

4 April 2014 by Eileen

You may have seen from my previous blogs that I love cleaning my house and I have tried many products over the years.  If you prefer not to use chemical solutions around your house, e-cloth is your best choice!  They are kind to your family and the environment.

How does it work?

Each e-cloth has 480,000 strands per cm.  By combining e-cloth’s unique fibre technology with water, the cloths breaks up, trap and absorbs grease, dirt and bacteria, which normal cloths leave behind.

E-cloth have a wide range of cloths and mops designed to clean all hard surfaces around the home with just water.  I have received the Dusters and Window pack.  Check out my review for the bathroom cloth here.

e-cloth dusters cloth review

1. Dusters Pack

It comes with two dusters in the pack and they are approx 30 cm squared.  They are very well made from 100% polyester, stitched around the sides and they attract the dust very easily.  Simply wipe the furniture or ornament and rinse the cloth with water afterwards.  It has a tag for you to hang up.  I am very impressed with how well it attracts the dust.  Afterwards, I hand washed the dirt away before I popped it in washing machine with the rest of the laundry.  It came out looking slight dull due to mixing with dark clothing.  Other than that, it still works very well!

2. Window Pack

There are two cloths inside this pack.  The waffle style cloth is very well made and stitched around the sides.  It measures 39 cm squared.  It comes with a labelled window cloth tag that could be used to hang up.  This removes the dirt and grime.

The dark green cloth measures a square 44cm and is for drying glass to a sparkling clean.  I am not keen on the material edge as the bits are coming off as I rubbing the edge.  However, the cleaning power is very good and I’m impressed with how easy it is to clean my windows using just water!

I had also popped these in with the laundry and both come out looking as good as new after a good wash in the machine.

New to the e-cloth family this year is the Outdoor range, including: BBQ Pack and Conservatory & Greenhouse Pack.  Perfect for the summer season, the outdoor range is designed to leave your outdoor furnishings in tip top shape using just water.

Furthermore, e-body – the beauty range developed by e-cloth – works using the same microfiber technology and just water to clean.  Products such as the e-body face mitt quickly and gently remove make-up without the need for harsh and expensive make-up removers or cleansing lotions.  Similar to e-cloths, e-body products remove dirt and other impurities from your face and body without harming you or irritating any allergies you may have.

All products in the e-cloth range are guaranteed for 300 washes and help save you both time and money.  As e-cloth eliminates the need for chemical cleaning products, it can help reduce your household cleaning bill by up to £100 a year while ensuring your green conscious remains clear!
